Here is a list of LGBT films we (read:George) have seen and what we thought about them. Some may be available in the library.

The Adventures of Priscilla – Queen of the Desert(1994)

A film set in Australia about two drag queens and a transsexual who have to drive through a desert for their drag show, in a bus with a giant high heel shoe on it. Very funny and beautiful.

Another Gay Movie (2006)

American Pie literally, but much much gayer. Where four gay guys make a pact to get laid before they go off to College. Like American Pie - very funny. It has Richard Hatch, Matthew Rush, and Graham Norton in it.

The Birdcage (1996)

Personally didn't like this film at all. Robin Williams plays the owner of a gay cabaret. He and his drag queen partner agree to pretend to be straight so that their son can introduce them to his fiancé's right-wing parents. (paraphrased from IMDB).
I didn't like it because the son was a selfish prat but that's just me.

East Side Story (2006)

An okay film about a still-in-the-closet Mexican gay guy in LA, who falls in love with a guy who has just moved in next door, with his partner.

Eating Out (2004)

A very interesting and funny movie, yet hard to explain. A guy wants to date a faghag and so pretends to be gay. He then comes onto her (gay male) flatmate. Who his flatmate has a crush on.

Eating Out 2 Sloppy Seconds(2006)

The sequel of Eating Out of course. Again very very funny. In this one a gay guy pretends to have been turned straight, as to escort a hunky model, to a group that allegedly turns gays straight. (warning: one of the actors of a main character of the Eating Out Series changes.)
